Special Programs
- The pharmacy is involved in the Diabetes and Asthma programs. The pharmacists monitor and recommend changes in therapies to provide the patient with the best outcomes of their therapy.
Educational materials are given out and teaching sessions are conducted. Our desire is to help patients understand their disease and treatment plans in the best way possible.
- The Prescription Assistance Program medications are verified and dispensed through the pharmacy. Patients who qualify can receive asistance with their applications from our Prescription
Assistance Advocate. If approved, patients can pick up their medications(s) at the pharmacy and will have the opportunity to receive medication counseling and ask about their drug therapy.

Staff
The pharmacy has two full-time and one fill-in pharmacists, four full-time pharmacy technicians, and one full-time Patient Assistance technician. Our goal is to assure safe and cost-effective drug
therapy and appropriate outcomes in the use of drugs and medicines in the community. To reach this goal, pharmacists, if possible, review the complete medical record or prescription order prior to
dispensing medications. Concerns or questions on treatment are discussed with the provider for clarification to assure patients receive the very best care. We monitor all therapy for its effectiveness
and to prevent or detect undesired drug reactions.
